R & P Post 20: My music video timeline

Having analysed our lyrics and instrumentation and collated our list of references and influences, we created a music video timeline. The main purpose of this was so that our group could understand the basic structure which our music video was going to follow.

Below is our timeline:

The timeline was roughly split into sections of the song (e.g chorus, verse, bridge) and main setups or editing notes were jotted between certain points in time on our timeline.

Looking ahead, the timeline will be very helpful once we begin to edit our footage, as we will be able to use its clear structure to deduce what kind of footage we want at a certain point on the timeline. Our storyboard will, however, be the next step in advancing our ideas, as this will include extra information on shot type, duration and will have a visual representation of the shot, plus any camera movement.
