R & P Post 21: My key shots storyboard

After the timeline, our next task was to construct a storyboard consisting of any 'key shots'. This would give us a visual representation of a rough order of our planned shots. The storyboard was also helpful in terms of how we constructed it, as using Post-it notes allowed easy re-ordering and re-drawing of shots if need be, which was very useful as we continued to plan our video's shots.

As it would be impossible to draw every single shot as a preview, we condensed our potential video into 'key shots' - those which we felt were the most important of the music video:

Following this, myself and Phoebe then constructed another neater and more detailed 'extended version' of the storyboard, which made it easier to gauge how we wanted to structure our video, and made our shot types and content far clearer than originally:

I am pleased at our storyboards, and believe that they will have an important impact during the post-production stage. We have been able to share our ideas on shots as a group, and now are starting to visualise the order and content of our music video far clearer.
